PKPiotr Koryś, Doctor of Economics, the economic historian, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Warsaw University. He was a Bronislaw Geremek Visiting Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna in 2016 – 2017. Specialist of Polish modernization and economic development of Poland and Central Europe. He studied the impact of weak institutionalization and economic pathology (corruption) on economic development. Piotr works with the University of Warsaw Institute of Social Studies, as a member of the Scientific Council. He is also a member of the Scientific Council of the Centre for Migration Research. He belongs to the group of experts of the Sobieski Institute.
