Izabela deals with energy and climate policies, European processes and sustainable finance. She has gained her professional experience in the European public administration and in the non-governmental sector where she worked on energy transformations, just transition of mining regions and monitoring of public finance and its impact on climate and the natural environment.

She holds a degree in English literature from the University of Warsaw and in international relations from Freie Universität Berlin.
