Joanna is a Spatial Planning engineer and an Urban Planner. She possesses professional experience in the public and private sectors acquired while working for the Warsaw’s city government, design studios and academic institutions. Joanna was a researcher at Bauhaus University Weimar focusing on the renewable energy, climate change and sustainable transportation systems topics. She has been actively participating in the activities of various NGOs organising cultural events.
Joanna graduated with honours from the Spatial Planning and Management engineering programme at Warsaw University of Technology. She holds a master’s degree (MSc) in Urban Planning and Design from Bauhaus University Weimar, and a second master’s degree (M.Eng.) in Town and Country Planning from Tongji University, Shanghai.
Her main interests are renewable energy, sustainable transportation systems, urban resilience, event organization and language learning.
