Personal data protection

We pay very close attention to the protection of customers’ personal data. We only collect information about the number of visitors to individual pages. For For this purpose, we use the mechanism of cookies files, which are stored on your computer. Information stored in server logs is also used to check the number of visitors to the portal. However, IP addresses are only used for statistical purposes.

Services for which personal data is required

Personal data is provided when filling in the contact form and when registering for events organized by us (seminars, workshops, etc.). The information stored in the database can only be accessed for the staff responsible for the technical operation of the services. Email addresses and other data stored there are not made available to others.

Edit or delete personal data

Any person who provides us with their e-mail address can opt out of receiving correspondence at any time.

Protection of e-mail addresses

At WiseEuropa, we take the security of computers on the local network very seriously. We ensure that our customer service people are trained in data protection and that your e-mail addresses are only used to contact you as part of your ongoing communication with our organisation.

When you subscribe to the Newsletter, you thereby declare

I hereby declare that, in accordance with Article 23(1)(1) of the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926), I consent to the processing of the personal data I have provided for marketing purposes, including the receipt of electronic commercial information from WiseEuropa for the promotion of its services. The data provided are fully protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. WiseEuropa (99/18 Jerozolimskie Avenue, 02-001 Warsaw) is the administrator of the personal database. The Provider has the right to access, modify and delete personal data from the WiseEuropa database. The provision of data is voluntary.


In accordance with Article 13 (1)-(2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter “GDPR”), we inform you that:

  1. The data controller of your personal data is WiseEuropa – Fundacja Warszawski Instytut Studiów Ekonomicznych i Europejskich, located at Królewska 2/26, 00-065 Warszawa (hereinafter: “Data Controller”).
  2. The Administrator will process your data: name, surname, e-mail address, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) RODO, for the purposes necessary for the performance of the contract concluded with you, for the purposes related to the fulfilment of the Administrator’s legal obligations, for the purposes resulting from the Administrator’s legitimate interests, in particular by:
    1. communication for the purposes of organising the webinar, sending information about the webinar and granting access to the webinar;
    2. sharing to entities through which the Administrator organizes events related to the project, in particular to entities providing videoconference transmission services and as part of the settlement of subsidies;
    3. sharing your facial image and voice as part of project events;
    4. recording the event and sharing the recording containing your image and voice.
  3. In the event of consent, the Administrator will process the following personal data: name, surname, e-mail address, pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a) GDPR, for the purposes of direct marketing directed at you, in particular by receiving the newsletter and information about the Administrator’s activities.
  4. In connection with the above, personal data may also be transferred to third countries, i.e. countries that are not members of the European Economic Area, and in particular to the United States, which is the headquarters of Zoom Video Communications, Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Google LLC, Cisco Systems, Inc. Protection in accordance with the regulations in force in the Republic of Poland as well as the assertion of claims related to the protection of personal data provided may therefore be difficult or impossible.
  5. In case of using personal data for direct marketing purposes, the Administrator makes decisions in an automated manner and the data is profiled by adapting to the recipient:
    1. the phrases (based on gender, name and surname);
    2. the content of the newsletter and information about the activities of WiseEuropa;
    3. the frequency of sending the newsletter and information about the activities of WiseEuropa.
  6. The above decisions will affect the form, content and frequency of information you receive about the activities of WiseEuropa and the newsletter.
  7. Personal data will be processed for the period until the limitation of claims related to the signed contract or the withdrawal of your consent by you.
  8. In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to:

1) access to your data and to receive a copy of your data;

2) rectify (amend) the data;

3) demand erasure or restriction of processing;

4) lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority.

You can exercise these rights by contacting the Data controller:

  1. The provision of personal data is voluntary, but failure to do so will prevent participation in the webinar. Consent to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes is voluntary.
  2. You have the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data, but the withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of processing, which was carried out lawfully before its withdrawal. If you withdraw your consent, the Data Controller will be obliged to delete your personal data, unless there is another legal basis for their processing.
