Revolutionary prosumer energy

Microgeneration stands for producing eletricity, primarly for own purposes, from installations based on renewable energy sources. Households and enterprises that undertake this, are prosumers – they simultaneously perform the role of energy producers and energy consumers.

It is a relatively new phenomenon in Poland but in many other countries electricity generation by consumers themselves is rather widespread. In our report – by introducing the prosumer to the public – we present technologies that enable electricity generation for own purposes but we also highlight possible motivations and barriers that hinder investment decisions.
