Europe in the wake of Brexit. What picture emerges after the referendum, in which the Brits decided to leave the EU? What solutions will be put forward?
On Monday, the heads of German and French diplomacy met with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad Group. The meeting was attended by the head of the German diplomacy, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the French Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault. The Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Witold Waszczykowski, also took part in the talks.
In the opinion of Krzysztof Blusz, the document that was to be presented to countries of our region came from the initiative of the Socialists. ‘This document is an initiative of the French and German socialists. French ideas, which for several years have met with refusal or the reluctance of Berlin, applied primarily to issues connected with rebalancing the Eurozone towards the communitarisation. At the moment, they appear as an initiative from the left side of the political scene in France and Germany” – said Krzysztof Blusz.
