‘For the sake of the mining industry in Poland, we cannot procrastinate in making difficult decisions’, commented Aleksander Śniegocki in an interview for Radio Poland 24, while evaluating the course of the mining industry’s restructuring and the challenges the industry faces.
‘If the supply on the coal market is too high, keeping the mines artificially alive will only exacerbate the problems of the entire sector. Without adjusting production to the demand, the state of the mining industry cannot be fixed’, stresses the WiseEuropa expert. One of the ways to heal the mining industry may be the modernization of production.
